  From Tinta Invisible with Manuel Guerrero we want to invite you to the tribute exhibition to Alfons Borrell and Josep Mª Mestres Quadreny and remember two great artists through the editions that we do together.

  In the tribute there will be interventions of friends from the world of culture. It will take place on two dates: the 8th at 6 pm and the 14th also at 6 pm. Seating is limited and by appointment only.

  The project takes its title from one of Josep Maria Mestres Quadreny's electroacoustic pieces, Tráfico boreal.

  The title evokes Brossa's posthumous poem "Sumari Astral".

  Mestres Quadreny uses a computer program for automatic sound generation. The traffic of the spectators through the space and the cadence of their movements transform the sound field with the opening or closing of the sound...

  The option of escape must always be considered. When that inevitable moment arrives when nothing compensates and the drama is so present that it is tiring, one must seriously consider the option of running away and relocating to the other side of the world. Abandoning one's homeland -and with it, all unresolved problems- is as unworthy a decision as any other.

  Far from home we will build a new life with rotting foundations and silk curtains. We will let all the uncomfortable things we left behind feed on the milk of our indifference and we will project a luminous future gestated from guilt.

  The archive, which often exists as an end, is here a beginning. The accumulation of images makes it possible to produce visual essays where a reading is not made of the photograph in isolation but of the relationship between them, thus constructing new meanings through association. All the publications of this exhibition-collection are generated following this method.

  Carla Lupa carries out essays on elements of a specific context that allow her to dialogue with the reality in which she is inserted. Her theoretical and practical proposals analyze the object of study, distinguishing the components that belong to its inherence and those that belong to its historical heritage.
