No, the giclée technique allows us to print one single copy or long print runs. We offer discounts on multiple prints from the same original.
For a giclée print, we need a digital file. If the piece you are starting from is not a digital image, but rather a physical work (painting, drawing, watercolour or photographic prints) you need to scan it or photograph it. We accept the following digital files for printing: TIFF, PSD, JPG and PDF.
Yes, at our studio we can scan pieces with a maximum size of 21 x 29.7 cm (A4). The rates for this service are available here. For larger format Cruse-type scans, we work with EGM laboratories.
The minimum required resolution for a giclée print is 300 dpi.
We have inkjet printers with a width of 111 cm (with a maximum printable surface of 109 cm). The length depends on the roll of paper you choose to work with, but, as a general rule, we do not recommend exceeding 200 cm.
Giclée printing works with digital files set to RGB, which the printer translates to CMYK. Therefore, please set the digital file you send us to RGB.
You do not need ICC profiles for the preview of your prints. We work with equipment that is calibrated to give you the best quality and authenticity of your images. We also offer a free colour proof (for orders of multiple copies) at an approximate size of 20 x 20 cm for you to approve the print or adjust your original file if you prefer.
We edit images, as required, in order to correct the colour trends generated when transferring the digital files, set to RGB, to the pigment colour produced by our printers. We can also offer more detailed or specific editing of your image, which will be charged according to the rates available here.

We can still do the print run. If you want to erase the original signature in order to sign each printed copy, we offer a service to remove the original signature by editing the digital file.
Giclée prints have been analysed by Wilhelm Imaging Research – a leading authority in the care and preservation of Fine Art prints – and they have declared that a print carried out with UltraChrome inks and Hahnemühle paper, exposed to a standard quality of light behind glass with a UV filter is durable for over one hundred years before any significant change in colour is detected.
A giclée print is delicate and should be treated with care, and we therefore recommend using cotton gloves. For framing the print, we recommend always using materials with a neutral pH and glass or methacrylate with a UV filter.
Yes, we are registered by Hahnemühle as a ‘Certified Studio for digital Fine Art printing’.
Deckle edge cut is a type of manual cut which imitates the natural irregular finish that appears in a sheet of paper when it is made, without any further modifications to the paper. Our default cut is smooth with a cutter, but you can request a deckle edge cut if you prefer. The rates for this service are available here.
The expected delivery date will vary according to the format and number of copies you order, as well as the overall workload in the studio at the time. As a general rule, for short print runs we need a minimum of four days or one week, and for long print runs we need between two weeks and a month.
We can send the packaged prints by taxi service or delivery company, but you can also call by the studio to collect your order. If you prefer your work to be sent to you, please include this information in your order so that we can provide the estimated cost.
Rates for the delivery of your work are calculated according to the destination address, and the size and weight of the package. We offer free delivery on orders over €100.
We accept payment in cash, by card or bank transfer.
