The archive, which often exists as an end, is here a beginning. The accumulation of images makes it possible to produce visual essays where a reading is not made of the photograph in isolation but of the relationship between them, thus constructing new meanings through association. All the publications of this exhibition-collection are generated following this method.
Carla Lupa carries out essays on elements of a specific context that allow her to dialogue with the reality in which she is inserted. Her theoretical and practical proposals analyze the object of study, distinguishing the components that belong to its inherence and those that belong to its historical heritage.
