Perejaume
This hand-bound book is the fruit of a collaboration between Perejaume, Pascal Comelade, and Enric Casasses, in which images, music, and words flow together. The book contains 18 photographs of the forest, 3 photographs of dancers, all printed on each side of the paper, 4 photogravures and 2 etchings by Perejaume. There are also 4 poems by Enric Casasses and 2 vinyl records, with music by Pascal Comelade. The images, texts, and music refer to the forest, the mountain, and rural workers. The set is wrapped in a hand-made paper slipcase, embossed with cork oak bark.
This book was presented on Saint George’s day in 2009, in Ceret.
The edition contains:
18 photographs printed on both sides with digital giclée print, on Bockingford paper, 190 g, 43 x 32 cm.
3 images of dancers printed, on both sides, in offset lithography, on Torras Gardapat paper, 170 g. The third dancer appears laminated and with a cardboard passepartout.
4 photogravures by Perejaume, on Arches paper, 160 g:
-1 etching inscribed on the cover, 18 x 19,5 cm.
-3 etchings within the book, printed on both sides, of 43 x 32 cm, 76 x 56 cm and 29 x 32 cm.
4 poems by Enric Casasses screen-printed on both sides of Canaletto Liso Bianco paper, 210 g, 43 x 32 cm.
2 vinyl records with music by Pascal Comelade: Single Picture Disc 7'', 65 g at 45 rpm and EP 10'', 110 g a 33 rpm.
The image on the endpapers has been screen-printed on Insize Modigliani paper, 200 g.
The edition is presented in a slip case of hand-made paper, embossed with the bark of cork oak, made at the Museu Molí Paperer de Capellades.
The size of the book is 43,5 x 32,7 x 2,5 cm.
