Poem of the Salamander

This portfolio contains a poem by M. J. Balsach and two original prints by Àngel Jové and Antoni Llena.

The technique used is photogravure with polymer for Àngel Jové’s print, and photogravure with polymer, die-cutting, and airbrush for Antoni Llena’s print. The images have been printed full bleed.

The paper used is Arches 160 g, measuring 38 x 28 cm.

The printmakers of the editions were Joan Moreno, Martí Guinovart and Ricard Ibernon, from the Tinta Invisible workshop in Barcelona.

After the printing of this edition, the plates of the prints were defaced and inked, and have become the property of the University of Girona (UdG).

This portfolio edition was printed during the autumn of 2002 on the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the University of Girona.

The edition consists of the following copies:

53 portfolios, numbered from 1/53 to 53/53; 15 artist’s proofs (PA), numbered from I/XV to XV/XV; and 7 hors commerce copies (HC).
