Jordi Garrido (Barcelona, 1991) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Barcelona (2014) and a Master’s degree in Advanced Studies in Art History (University of Barcelona, 2015). Since 2013, he has been an art critic in specialized media such as A*Desk, Barcelona Metròpolis, El Temps de les Arts, or Bonart, among others. He has curated exhibitions at the Centre Grau-Garriga for Contemporary Textile Art, Fundació Arranz-Bravo, Espai Guinovart, the Museum of l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, and Can Sisteré Contemporary Art Center. His research focuses on post-war art and its contemporary manifestations.
He has also served as coordinator and producer for the 21-22 season of Temporals ICUB, the Panoràmic Festival 2023, and has worked in galleries such as Ana Mas Projects.
He is the author of the book “Arranz-Bravo: Des de dins”, the memoirs of the painter Eduard Arranz-Bravo (1941-2023), published by Comanegra.
He is a founding member of the Barcino Oriens project, dedicated to the research and outreach of ancient Rome in Catalonia, collaborating with institutions such as the Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia, the Museum of Badalona, and the Museum of History of Catalonia, among others.
Jordi Alcaraz i Tarradas (Calella, 1963) lives and works in Calella. For more than 30 years he has been exhibiting in galleries, fairs and museums around the world. Lately, he has had personal exhibitions in galleries such as Michael Haas in Berlin and Zurich, Forsblom in Helsinki, Jack Rutberg in Los Angeles, Joan Prats and Mayoral in Barcelona, Nieves Fernández in Madrid, Stefan Röpke in Cologne and Centro Cultural Contemporáneo Pelaires in Palma de Mallorca, among others.
Many public spaces have dedicated exhibitions to him and his works are part of international collections.
His work has been presented at contemporary art fairs: Arte Basel, Arte Cologne, Arte Chicago, ARCO, Miami Basel, Zona Maco, Premio, Art Fiera o Art Hong Kong.
Since 1982, he has worked intaglio engraving as an editor (books with Joan Brossa, Perejaume or Alfons Borrell), author and teacher (International Center for Graphic Research of Calella, Brita Prinz, Madrid, Faculty of Fine Arts of Bilbao) among others.
Ricard Ibernon Pons (Sant Pol de Mar, 1967) has been associated with the Museum of Painting of Sant Pol de Mar for 35 years as a member of the cultural association Amics de les Arts. In this space he has participated with the work team of most of the organized exhibitions, programming and coordinating the artistic proposals and the activities. Some of the most important ones are: Aigua, Jungfrau, Darius Vilàs, 4 tallers, A. Ràfols Casamada, Perejaume, Maria Girona, Josep Guinovart i Antoni Llena, among others. He is at the moment vice-president of the organization.
His formation as an artistic engraver at the Escola Industrial de Barcelona and his passion for art made him found in 1997, together with Martí Guinovart, the engraving workshop and editorial Tinta Invisible, a space dedicated to the production of original contemporary graphic work. It stands out for the uniqueness of the cooperative project where the work commissioned by artists, art galleries and publishers is completed with the production of artists' books in all its formal expressions, printmaking folders and editorial services. He is the art director.
Nuria Melero (Barcelona, 1974) is an artist and educator based in Barcelona. She studied Fine Arts at the Universitat de Barcelona and graduated with a specialization in Printmaking and Engraving in 1998. In 1999 she studied at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. In 2004 she obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. He has lived and worked in the United States and Scotland.
To develop his artistic work, based on the behaviors of nature, he uses mainly the language of engraving. He regularly participates in group exhibitions and has had several solo exhibitions and artistic projects. In 2015 she created the international printmaking competition ON PAPER and was the main organizer until 2023.
Mercis Rossetti (Barcelona 1989) is an artist and curator. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Universitat de Barcelona, a Master in Artistic Creation: Realisms and Environments from the Universitat de Barcelona and a Master in Management of Creative and Cultural Industries from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
During her stay in New York she studied at the International Center of Photography School, large format photography and editorial practices: publication of photobooks and artist books. She is currently a partner of Tinta Invisible ediciones.
Her work has participated in several festivals such as LA NUU (Rubí), Festimatge (Calella), VilaPensa (Vilafranca del Penedès) or TerraTecaTraca (Catalonia) and has been exhibited in different museums and art centers such as La Fundació Guinovart (Agramunt), La Fundació Únicas (Barcelona), the Museu Etnológic i de cultures del món (Barcelona) the Convent de San Agustí (Barcelona) or the Museu de Pintura de Sant Pol de Mar.
He has made residence stays at Konetpuntzero (Cal Rosal) and Nau Colêa (Camallera).
He is currently working on his first photobook.
Jo Milne (Edinburgh, 1966) is an artist and researcher, who graduated with an MA in Fine Art from Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University and was awarded an MA in Printmaking from The London Institute (Camberwell College of Art). She was awarded a PhD in Fine Art in 2016 from the University of Barcelona for her thesis Invisible structures that considered methodologies used by scientists, artists and visionaries to visualize the invisible. This research involved collaborations with programmers and scientists at CitiLab (Cornella), the VHIR, Barcelona and the Chemistry Department of the University of Barcelona.
A lecturer at EINA for many years, she has taught course modules in Colour, Printmaking, Graphic Creation and Projects and is currently in charge of International Relations. She has also been a lecturer at Winchester School of Art (Barcelona), Trinity College (Hartford/Barcelona), Metafora (Barcelona), Europaïsche Kunstakademie (Trier), University of Creative Arts (Canterbury), and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art (University of Dundee) and was director of the MA in European Fine Art at Winchester School of Art. She has undertaken residencies at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (Dublin), the Museu d’Art de Sabadell (Sabadell) and PATH (London) and did a teaching exchange at Massachusetts School of Art (Boston).
Rittagraf is a team specializing in manual printing techniques, comprising Carlos Alguacil, Raquel Fuster, and Laura Tamarit. The team is dedicated to the research, training, and practice of screen printing, engraving, and other graphic and printing techniques. Since its inception, Rittagraf has actively contributed to the professionalization of printing processes in Spain.
Carlos Alguacil (Barcelona, 1981) holds a degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Artistic Creation and is a specialist in manual printing techniques. Currently pursuing his doctorate in screen printing at UCLM, he has extensive experience in lithography, screen printing, and engraving. Carlos leads Rittagraf and provides technical support in museums and universities.
Raquel Fuster (Barcelona, 1981) has a diploma in graphic design from Elisava and is certified in Graphic Arts Production. She co-directs Rittagraf, bringing solid expertise in screen printing and print project management.
Laura Tamarit (Barcelona, 1989) is an illustrator and communication manager with a focus on graphic marketing and engraving's visual languages, adding creative and strategic insight to the team.
Rittagraf is distinguished by its commitment to preserving and expanding manual printing techniques within the contemporary landscape.
