ABECEDARI de MIGUEL RASERO

from march 13 to 27, 2025

This exhibition includes the artist's most recent work: a set of letters, watercolors and concepts where he works some of his most significant imagery. The presence of still lifes, landscapes and circus characters where he pays tribute to Cézanne, Braque, Gris, Picasso or Duchamp stands out.

Of this last pictorial work highlights the versatility of his figurativism and his visual resources. We find landscapes grafted with metaphysics, faces close to deconstruction, still lifes almost baroque and others cubist... offering themselves as visual games between the real world and the imaginary world, where the balance between fragile or impossible forms creates illusory optics of depth in flat spaces.

Rasero is an artist in constant evolution who always tries to incorporate new elements to his work. Over the years, his register is enriched with new nuances and elements that surprise, while maintaining the coherent line that vertebrates his creative discourse.

It has a long history of exhibitions in Spain, regularly participates in relevant fairs and national exhibitions, but also to cities like Brussels, New York, London and Florence. He has been showing his work at the Trama Gallery and Sala Parara since 1995.
